ACUTE EFFECTS: Can be irritating to the eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Can be absorbed through the skin. Prolonged or repeated skin contact with the liquid may lead to drying, cracking, and possible dermatitis. Overexposure may cause nausea, headache, dizziness, vomiting and weakness.

CHRONIC EFFECTS: Reproductive disorders.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

INHALATION: Immediately remove victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration.

EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes, including under the eyelids, gently but thoroughly with plenty of running water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention as soon as possible.

SKIN CONTACT: Rinse the affected area with flooding amounts of water and then wash it with soap and water.

INGESTION: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Have conscious and alert person drink 1 to 2 glasses of water. Contact physician immediately.

CLEAN UP PROCEDURES: Evacuate and ventilate area. Remove leaking cylinder to exhaust hood or safe outdoor area. Shut off source if possible and remove source of heat. Absorb with sand or vermiculite and place in closed containers for disposal.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING: Secure cylinder when using to protect from falling. Use suitable hand truck to move cylinders. Use spark-proof tool and explosion-proof equipment.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN STORAGE: Store in well ventilated areas. Keep valve protection cap on cylinders when not in use. Store away from heat, flame, and sparks.
