PERFLUOROPROPANE (C3F8)

Perfluoropropane is also known as perflutren and octafluoropropane and is used in a variety of medical applications, such as the active ingredient in ultrasound contrast agents and as a retinal tamponade. Known for its chemical and biological inertness, perfluoropropane is supplied as a liquefied gas under its own vapor pressure of 100 psig (6.8 bar). Scott manufactures perfluoropropane under cGMPs, offers the product in a wide variety of cylinder sizes and quantities customized for your application, and can work with you to develop custom specifications and meet your specific purity requirements.
