Scott's Global Cross ReferenceTM Service
True confirmation of accurate analytical results are best obtained by comparing analytical results among a number of independent, separate laboratories. For 40+ years, Scott Specialty Gases has provided this kind of confirmation through our Global Cross Reference Service. Scott's cross reference provides a unique opportunity for individual government and industry laboratories to assess the accuracy of their own measurements, through comparison with other labs in the global community.
Subscribing organizations, including many Fortune 500 companies, analyze gas standards that have been uniformly prepared and distributed by Scott. Results from participating companies are compared for process statistical agreement. This process enables subscribers to maintain a high degree of confidence in the accuracy of their laboratory analyses, and also helps identify potential problems in the accuracy of those analyses.
