The Model 55-62SB is a welded steel safety stand that supports gas cylinders ranging in size from 3” to 4” in diameter. Designed for use with the SCOTTY® 48 gas cylinder, the stand has an 11” (279.4 mm) base and a height of 4” (101.6 mm).
The Model 55-62SBS is designed for slightly smaller gas cylinders ranging from 2 ¾ to 3 ¼ “s in diameter. This gas cylinder stand is intended for use with the following SCOTTY® transportable cylinders: 110, 105, 35, 17, 14, and 11.
Our Model 55-84S floor mounted gas cylinder stand adjusts to hold cylinders ranging in size from 6” (152.4 mm) to 9 ¼”(235.0 mm) in diameter. Its design allows the stand to hinge open and fit around the base of a gas cylinder thus eliminating any heavy lifting.
Scott also offers an inexpensive gas cylinder stand, Model 55-62SBM, which is injection molded of chemical-resistant HPDE resin. Measuring 7” (177.8
mm) in diameter at the base, 3” (76.2 mm) in height, and 3” (76.2 mm) across its cylinder opening, this gas cylinder stand is ideal for bench applications using the SCOTTY 14, SCOTTY 17 or SCOTTY 35 gas cylinders. A compression fit design makes it fast and easy to change cylinders.
Last, but not least, Scott Specialty offers an aluminum cylinder stand designed specifically for lecture bottles, Model 51-30H. It has a 7 ½” square
base with 4 mounting holes and a 2” opening.
