SCOTT GHG EPA PROTOCOLS
We’ve engineered two SCOTT brand greenhouse gas EPA protocol calibration standards that will help facilities to comply with new legislation governing greenhouse gas emissions. These four and five-component mixtures include methane and carbon dioxide, enabling you to monitor emissions more efficiently and economically by allowing you to monitor CO, CO2, CH4, NOx, and SO2 using a single calibration gas standard.
Effective January 1, 2010, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Mandatory Reporting of Greenhouse Gases Rule will require large emitters of heat-trapping emissions to begin collecting GHG data. Generally speaking, the EPA’s greenhouse gas rule calls for direct measurement of emissions from certain units that already are required to collect and report data using continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMs).
